Watching Aristocats makes me miss my momma.
Yesterday, there was a kid near Adventureland who was about 4 years old or so. he was a wearing a princess crown, had a princess wand, the autograph book was princesses, etc. and there was a grown man teasing him about “being gay”. A grown man.
Peter Pan likes to hang around the Adventureland bridge and he happened upon that scene. Not liking what he saw, especially from a grown up, he spoke up:
“Excuse me, sir, but I’m about to give you some advice I never tell anyone: grow up.”
Genius. And love.

There comes a time
In the process of a young adults life when the stress becomes too much too fast. They go from being care free in school and then all of the sudden it’s too much. There are too many bills for their part time job, their living situation becomes unbearable, and they just lock themselves up until finally. They snap.
See, the trick is to keep doing what you love. Keep doing something that makes you, you. You can’t let yourself be overwhelmed by work and responsibilities. If you like to paint, paint when you get home. If you like to read, read. If you like to play music, play. If you like to post on tumblr, then get on here! Just don’t let that go! Then, one day, you’ll be happy again! I promise!
A long day is just beginning
I haven’t gotten a chance to write on here very often. Mostly because my phone is too slow an a pain in the butt when I’m trying to type on here. And mostly because when I’m in a writing mood, I don’t have enough time to deal with it. Like right now. But I just want to say I think today is going to be better than yesterday. And that gives me hope. I’m also watching LOTR right now and that makes me miss my mom. I wish I could go see The Hobbit with her. I saw all of the LOTR movies in the theater with her. That bums me out. But Gondor is winning again, and they will continue to win even after I have to start working. I don’t care how old and cheesy these movies are, they always make my day better and always give me hope. #LOTR #badday #work
I know it’s a snob thing to say
But if I’m trying to practice my piano and I’m kind enough to put headphones in so everybody else can practice, you should too! You’re not the most blessed person in the class that you can play the teacher’s piano when she’s not here! Get off! You’re not good!!!
Sitting at Starbucks
Is a lot more awkward than it used to be. If you’re sitting by yourself, you look weird. Unless you are deeply immersed in your book or laptop. Otherwise you just look super awkward. Which is why I’m leaving now.
